Volt-VAR Regulation

An operating mode of an Inverter that smooths the Voltage in a Distribution Network by absorbing Reactive Power when Voltage levels rise. Alternatively, when Voltage fall below the required level, the Volt-VAR mode causes the Inverter to generate Reactive Power to support Voltage levels.

Given the fast-evolving nature of power system transformation, the Future Grid Accelerator (FGA) has the status of a perpetual BETA version. Your suggestions for how each concept and definition may be enhanced are very welcome.
