Value Stacking

The process of providing Electric Products to several vertical Tiers/Layers of the Power System (e.g. Bulk Power System, Transmission Network, Distribution Network, etc) for the purpose of maximising the simultaneous value of providing these services in manner that does not create unintended negative impacts.

The concept of Value Stacking is closely related to the topic of Co-optimisation.

Given the fast-evolving nature of power system transformation, the Future Grid Accelerator (FGA) has the status of a perpetual BETA version. Your suggestions for how each concept and definition may be enhanced are very welcome.

All feedback will be reviewed and considered for inclusion in subsequent updates.
