Systemic Issues

Cross-cutting conditions and/or structural settings that:

  1. Are currently embedded in a specific GW-scale Power System and/or will arise from the convergence of various Emerging Trends; and,
  2. Will require architectural interventions if the emerging Customer and Societal Objectives for the future Power System are to be enabled in a secure, cost-efficient, timely and scalable manner.

Given the fast-evolving nature of power system transformation, the Future Grid Accelerator (FGA) has the status of a perpetual BETA version. Your suggestions for how each concept and definition may be enhanced are very welcome.

All feedback will be reviewed and considered for inclusion in subsequent updates.
