Operational Coordination Framework

A formalised model for determining how a diverse range of Power System assets and Distributed Energy Resources (DER) will cooperate to solve common problems. This requires the delineation all participant roles and responsibilities together with their needs and/or capabilities regarding business objectives, market responsibilities, device or system performance constraints, and data requirements.

Given the fast-evolving nature of power system transformation, the Future Grid Accelerator (FGA) has the status of a perpetual BETA version. Your suggestions for how each concept and definition may be enhanced are very welcome.

All feedback will be reviewed and considered for inclusion in subsequent updates.
