Grid Forming Inverter (GFMI)

An Inverter that actively controls its Frequency and Voltage output to independently support Power System operation and restart.  GFMI can instantaneously balance Loads without the need for external communications or coordination, can operate in islanded mode and support stability during Fault conditions.

Given the fast-evolving nature of power system transformation, the Future Grid Accelerator (FGA) has the status of a perpetual BETA version. Your suggestions for how each concept and definition may be enhanced are very welcome.
