Fault Current

The unusually elevated Current which flows in the event of a Fault.  Although this high Current is undesirable due to its potential danger, it also has characteristics that have traditionally been used as a primary means for the Protection System to identify the presence and general location of a Fault. 

Given the fast-evolving nature of power system transformation, the Future Grid Accelerator (FGA) has the status of a perpetual BETA version. Your suggestions for how each concept and definition may be enhanced are very welcome.
