Energy

Electrical Energy is the product of electrical Power and time.  It represents the ability to perform a volume of work in a duration of time and is measured in kiloWatt hours (kWh), MegaWatt hours (MWh) or GigaWatt hours (GWh).

While they are closely related, it is very important to understand the distinction between Energy and Power.

Given the fast-evolving nature of power system transformation, the Future Grid Accelerator (FGA) has the status of a perpetual BETA version. Your suggestions for how each concept and definition may be enhanced are very welcome.

All feedback will be reviewed and considered for inclusion in subsequent updates.
