Distribution Market Mechanisms (DMM)

A general term reflecting a spectrum of approaches and mechanisms to value, incentivise, procure and coordinate Energy, System Flexibility and/or Essential System Services (ESS) from Consumer Energy Resources (CER/DER).

In basic form, this may include tariff-based incentives and/or bilateral contracts.  In more advanced forms, it may include Network Services Market and/or Flexibility Market that are Co-optimised with conventional Wholesale Market mechanisms.
