Centralised Legacy Architecture

A conventional Power System structure that is the product of Architecture choices made in a historical context where almost all Electricity was provided by centralised Generation Plant connected to the Transmission Network and managed by the Market/System Operator (MSO)

In the historical context of this model, Distribution Networks did not host Distributed Energy Resources (DER/CER) but functioned primarily as a means of unidirectional supply from the Bulk Supply Points (BSP) to largely passive Customers.

Given the fast-evolving nature of power system transformation, the Future Grid Accelerator (FGA) has the status of a perpetual BETA version. Your suggestions for how each concept and definition may be enhanced are very welcome.

All feedback will be reviewed and considered for inclusion in subsequent updates.
